We’re looking for a founding engineer with 3-5+ years of experience, and an obsessive product mindset that loves to get things done. This is a high-impact role where you’ll own multiple parts of the Cardinal product and infrastructure stack.

Your main job function:

- Develop and deliver complete product and infrastructure solutions, ensuring exceptional user and developer experiences, primarily using Go in multi-cloud environments.

- Work closely with leadership to define and influence our product and engineering roadmap.

- You like OSS and working with the developer community!

- You want to build AI powered product experiences!

Our Tech Stack:

- Most of our data collection is written in Go and will soon be getting open sourced. 

- Our backend/query engine relies heavily on reactive/streaming data paradigms.

- Other than that we live & breathe S3 + Serverless

- The UI is written in React/TypeScript. 

Location Preference:

- 50% of the team is in person, and the other 50% is remote. 

- Folks local to the Bay Area generally do it fully in person. We are also open to hybrid (3 days a week in person). 

- Remote folks visit the HQ (in Walnut Creek, CA) once a quarter.
