Observability Cost Management with Cardinal

Many people are worried or even frightened about unexpectedly high bills from observability vendors.  Even when costs seem to be managed, engineers and SREs can feel limited by budget to not send what they would find useful, just what is absolutely necessary to enable monitoring and basic troubleshooting.

Cardinal has an Open Telemetry Collector that receives your existing telemetry of logs, metrics, and spans, and intelligently selects which to send along to your existing observability provider.  This is the most basic offering, and you get instant savings out of the box.  Want more, or want to fine-tune what is and isn’t sent?  You can do that through our UI, and your collectors will begin filtering based on the new spend limit or filters automatically.
